Holiday photo books
A week away usually comes back as a few hundred photos. One book is easier to look at.

A holiday is the easiest book there is to make. The photos are all in one place, they're in order, and there's a beginning and an end. It's also the book that most often never gets made, because by the time you're home the photos are already behind a few weeks of new ones.
So do it on the way back. You can make the whole book on your phone, on the train or in the departure lounge.
How to make one
- Pick the photos from the trip. Somewhere between 40 and 80 is plenty for 28 pages.
- Add them. We lay out the pages in date order and try to keep each day on its own spread, so the book follows the holiday.
- Pick the photo you'd like on the cover, give it a title - the place and the year is hard to beat - and order.
Making it better than a camera roll
- Leave some out. Ten photos of the same sunset make a weaker page than one. If you add more than will fit, auto-design picks a spread across the whole trip rather than cutting off the last few days, but your own choices will always be better.
- Include the in-between. The ferry, the hire car, the café you went back to three times. They're what you'll remember it by.
- Give the best one a page to itself. Landscapes print well across a whole spread.
