Everything a journalist needs to write about RGBloom, in one place. If you need more, or want to arrange an interview, write to us and a real person will reply.
What RGBloom is
RGBloom is a small British company that makes one thing: a square photo book, designed on your own device and posted to you for £10, delivery included. There are no accounts to create, no sales or discount codes, and we delete everything to do with your order 30 days after you place it. It is run by one person, and the software behind it was built with the help of AI.

The stories worth telling
Three angles, all of them true and all of them checkable.
The shop that never has a sale
One honest price, held honestly: £10, including delivery, never discounted and never quietly padded with a fake "was" price. No Black Friday, no countdowns, no "only two left". It is a pointed counter to a photo-book market where the sale price is usually a fiction.
Everything you send us is deleted within 30 days
Thirty days after you order, your book, your photos, your name and your address are gone, unconditionally. While you design, your photos stay on your device; nothing reaches us until you order; we run no tracking and show no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. We are honest about the limit, too: to print and post the book we do receive your photos when you order, and may look at them to check the book came out right, and then delete them with everything else.
A teacher who built a company with AI
RGBloom was built by a computer science teacher in Cambridge, one evening at a time, to answer a question a student had asked: with AI now writing code, is a computer science degree still worth doing? The code was written almost entirely by AI, to the founder's direction - by the founder's own count, only a single line of it was typed by hand. The founder's account of what that means for learning to build software is available on request.
