A photo book of the school year
From the first-day photo by the front door to the last day of term.

Every school year has the same few photos: the first day in a uniform that's slightly too big, a nativity, a sports day, a school trip, the last day. Each one feels like it matters at the time, and most never leave the phone.
A book of the year gathers them up. Done once a year, they make a shelf of books that shows a child growing up.
What to put in it
- The first and last days. The same spot by the front door in September and July makes a good opening and closing page.
- The things they made. Paintings, models and certificates that can't all be kept. Photograph them and they take up a page, not a cupboard.
- Their friends. The people a child spends the year with are often who they remember it by.
- The events. Plays, sports days, trips, the class assembly.
Leaving nursery
Leaving nursery or pre-school is a natural moment for a book, and it makes a lovely thank-you for a key worker, too. If you're putting one together for a whole class, bear in mind it'll have other people's children in it. Ask their parents first, and only give copies to the families of children who are in it.
Making it
Add the year's photos and we lay out the pages for you, in date order, keeping each day together where we can. The school yearbook template gives you a cover to start from. Change anything you like, add a title, and order. Somewhere between 40 and 80 photos fills the book well - how many photos you need has more on that.
The book, and the photos
A 21×21cm stapled softback, 28 pages on 150gsm silk paper, with a laminated cover. £10, including UK delivery. Order a copy for each set of grandparents at the same time, each sent to its own address.
Your photos stay on your device while you design, and nothing is sent to us until you order. We delete your book, your photos and your details 30 days after you order. That matters more than usual when the photos are of children.
