Returns
If something is not right with your book, write to us within 14 days of it arriving and we will refund or replace it, whichever you prefer. The policy below is the same whether the book is faulty, damaged, or you have simply changed your mind.
The short version
- 14 days from delivery to ask.
- Refund or replacement - your choice.
- Email hi at rgbloom dot com with your order details.
- No need to send the book back.
If the book is damaged or misprinted
Tell us at hi at rgbloom dot com within 14 days of it arriving. A photo or two of the problem helps us catch whatever went wrong at the printer, but is not required. We will refund or send a replacement at our cost.
Things that count as a fault: misprints, smudged or off-register colour beyond ordinary print variation, damaged covers or pages, missing pages, the wrong book entirely, anything that does not match what you ordered. Things that do not count as a fault: the colours on the printed page being slightly different from your screen (we work to keep this close, but no printed book matches a backlit display exactly).
If you have changed your mind
The same offer: write to us within 14 days of delivery and we will refund or replace. Honest framing - under UK law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28(1)(b)) a personalised photo book is exempt from the standard distance-selling cancellation right. We do not have to accept change-of-mind returns. We do anyway, because it is the right thing for the kind of brand we want to be.
You do not need to send the book back
The book has your photos in it. We have nothing useful to do with a returned copy - we cannot reprint it for someone else, and we will not. Keep it, give it away, recycle it; it is yours. We will process the refund or replacement either way.
When refunds arrive
Once we have confirmed the refund, the money goes back to the card that paid for the order. Stripe usually settles refunds within five working days; sometimes faster, occasionally slower depending on your bank. We can chase Stripe if it takes longer than that.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Books we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If they are not, you have rights to a refund, repair, or replacement that we cannot exclude - and would not want to. The policy above is what we promise on top.
