The price is the price

No hidden delivery, no surprise extras, no maths at the till.

Here's a small ritual familiar to anyone who's bought something online. You find the thing, the price looks fine, you go to pay, and then the number starts moving. Delivery gets added. A "service fee" appears. An upgrade you didn't ask for is already ticked. By the checkout, the friendly price on the first page has quietly become a different, larger one.

We decided the price should just be the price.

An RGBloom book is £10, and that £10 includes delivery within the UK. There's nothing added at the checkout: no postage line that turns up at the last moment, no packaging fee, no pre-selected extras to hunt for and untick. Order one book or five, each is £10 with delivery included, and the total is exactly what you'd get from multiplying.

This matters most with delivery, because delivery is where the number usually hides. On a lot of sites the postage is genuinely hard to find until you're most of the way through, by which point you've done the work of making the thing and are far more likely to just pay it. We'd rather you knew the whole cost at the start, when it can actually help you decide, than discover it at the end when it mostly just irritates you.

So we folded delivery into the price and left it there. It makes the number very slightly higher and very much more honest. Ten pounds, including UK delivery, is the entire cost of an RGBloom book.

The one thing we can't fold in is where you are. We post within the UK for now, and only the UK - we'd rather say that plainly up front than take an order we can't fulfil. If your copies are going to different people, you can split them into separate shipments, each to its own UK address, and each is still £10 all in.

That's the whole of it. No small print doing the opposite of the big print. The price you see on the way in is the price you pay on the way out.
